The Whole Backstage will present 4 performances and one weekend only of Mommy Monologues/Daddy Dialogues - Stories about Family, May 28 through May 31 in the Duff/McDaniel Black Box located inside the Whole Backstage Playhouse

 

Directed by Johnny Brewer, childhood, children, being parents or having parents is the theme of Mommy Monologues/Daddy Dialogues - Stories about Family. Here is an opportunity to reminisce, to laugh and cry and perhaps have a moment of reflection. Who knows you might get caught up in the dialogue.

 

We have 12 Moms and Dads, Aunts and Uncles ready to tell "Stories about Family" This heartwarming almost impromptu program will feature real life stories about parenthood/motherhood/fatherhood... everything from the being a new mom to the working mom, to the stay at home dad, surrogacy, Christmases past and the loss of a parent. These “Stories about Family” are funny, serious, emotional, moving and sentimental.

Cast Members featured are:
Meredith Jackson, Bob Crook, Melanie Hyatt, Bob Copeland, Katherine Brewer, Gary March-Force, Brittany Alexander, Gary Bilke, Allen Jolley, Anna Hays, Sarah Kritner, Stacy McLaughlin and Jeff McLaughlin

 

This Black Box production can fit into anyone's budget! $5 per person or $35 for a table of 6 where you can bring your dinner (pizza to caviar), drinks or snacks! Single seat tickets are purchased at the door on the day of and an hour before each performance. Tables are limited to 3 and can be reserved by calling the WBS Office during regular business hours at 256.582.7469. NO ONLINE ticket sales are available for this production.

 

Don't miss this humorous and emotional show. Show times are 7:00 p.m. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday with a 2:00 matinee on Sunday.
