Messiah 2018 is a collaborative effort performed by members of Guntersville First United Methodist Church Chancel Choir, First Baptist Church of Guntersville Sanctuary Choir, Guntersville City Schools Performing Arts Members and the Black Tie Concert Chorale who has performed several programs with the Whole Backstage Theatre.

 

Lori Baily, Ken Patterson, Christi Smallwood and Johnny Brewer will conduct.

 

A live orchestra will accompany the almost 100 member choir.

 

Karen Fancher is the rehearsal accompanist.

 

The concert will be presented December 14 & 15 at 7:00 p.m. and on December 16 at 2:00 p.m. in the Guntersville High School Auditorium.

 

There is no charge for admission and in keeping with Händel’s benevolence, a love offering accepted to support the following community charities: Room in the Inn, Blessings in a Backpack, Shepherd's Cove Hospice and the Guntersville City Schools Performing Arts Program.
