We want to thank EVERYONE who tried out for Peter Pan! We are so thrilled to have this opportunity to share a children's theatre experience with our communities! Please know, that not being cast this time around certainly does not mean there will not be a part for you in a future Whole Backstage or Whole Backstage Children's Theatre production! Every week brings a new possibility for you! Thank you again for sharing your time and talents with us and we look forward to seeing you again very soon!

If you would like to accept your role, please email to wbschildrenstheatre@gmail.com and simply put ACCEPT in the subject line. In the body of the email put your name or your child's name. If you would like to decline your role, please follow the same instructions and change the subject to DECLINE. This will help us to have the most accurate contact list possible.

 Our Purpose

For years the Whole Backstage Theatre has been the center of theatre arts in Marshall County.  It’s always been a place where people of all ages could gather without judgments or criticisms.  Developed by Ms. Dot Moore of Guntersville, the Whole Backstage started as a teen club and has morphed into one of the largest 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations in the area.

These courses are designed to stimulate and develop unique intellectual and creative abilities of each student through learning and practicing basic Theatre Arts concepts. Through an applied emphasis in this course, the student will gain greater knowledge of self and others and will begin to develop an appreciation of Theatre as an art form.

History

This year, on its 40th Anniversary, the Whole Backstage Theatre will celebrate by reviving an age old concept that children are where the future of the Whole Backstage resides.  Beginning in January, under the administration of Board of Directors members, Jon and Kelleybrooke Brown, the Whole Backstage Children’s Theatre will again open its doors.
