The 2009 TAKE THE STAGE Talent Competition is open to a variety of family oriented performances including vocalists, dancers, comedians, baton twirlers, and martial arts demonstrations. The 2009 TAKE THE STAGE Talent Competition is an amateur competition.

The contestants for this year’s competition are:

Albertville – Payne Pirando; Altoona – Dillon Dyer; Arab – Brianna Moore; Danville – Alaina Wiley; Decatur – Anna Brooke Higdon; Grant – Buckshot (band), Mohr 4 (musical group); Guntersville – Blake Brock & Kori Makaris, Steven Jex, Megan Burr, Caroline Norton; Hollywood - Taylor Levvorne & Jared Wright ; Huntsville – Anna Hawkins; New Market – Holly Helms; Oneonta – Melissa Lawler; Rainsville – Megan Mitchell; Section – Harley & Pacey Carson, Avery Fairbanks, Cassie Hancock, Kimi Lee; Town Creek – Tiffany Woodard; Union Grove – Gail Royster.

Performers participating in the

Talent Competition will have an opportunity to win first, second, and third place CASH prizes of $500, $300, and $200.
