ANNIE WARBUCKS
2009

To ALL:

We want to thank you all for making auditions for ANNIE WARBUCKS a great experience! We enjoyed watching each of you in the number of roles that you read and sang. Unfortunately we could not cast everyone or everyone in the roles that they preferred. This is the process of directing that becomes the most difficult! I know you all know that we had a very difficult task in casting ANNIE WARBUCKS. You ALL brought something special and great to each part. In saying this, We hope those of you that were not cast will come back and audition for other shows at the WBS. We also hope that you will plan on helping with the show in some way! Those of you that have been cast you will be receiving an e-mail or phone call in the next few days regarding more information. Again, THANKS to each and everyone of you! We look forward to seeing you soon!

Synopsis:
The world's favorite orphan returns in the long-awaited sequel to the international smash hit "Annie." All the ingredients that made "Annie" so successful are here once again, with an old-fashioned romance thrown in for good measure!

The action picks up right where "Annie" leaves off, when Child Welfare Commissioner Harriet Doyle arrives on the scene to inform Daddy Warbucks he must marry in sixty days so the newly adopted Annie can have a proper mother. In the end, Daddy Warbucks' whirlwind search for a fitting bride uncovers not only a plot by Doyle and her daughter to strip him of his fortune, but also his true feelings for Grace Farrell.
