Synopsis:

Murry Burns is an unemployed children’s TV show writer who has embarked on a personal campaign to wake up the rest of the world and Nick is his precocious 12-going-on-40 year old nephew. When 2 New York social workers come to interview Mr. Burns, one of them, Albert. Is forced to report a “dangerous environment” for Nick’s upbringing. He informs Mr. Burns that Nick will be removed to “more suitable” surroundings unless Mr. Burns can prove that he can properly raise Nick.  Murry is forced to decide between his non-conformist lifestyle and his love for Nick.  Can Murry Burns get himself back to reality?? He has plenty of help from Sandra, the other social worker, his brother and agent, Arnold and the slightly neurotic Leo Herman—better known as Chuckles the Chipmunk.
